Thank you Pattie!! I'm trying like mad to avoid making mud out of oil paints during this challenge.....it's definitely a learning curve for me after painting with acrylics for decades. I'm learning a lot.
Your painting caught my eye, too, as I looked at the many, MANY paintings on the challenge! :) I think the suggested buildings are especially effective, as well as your use of complements.
Thank you for your comment, Brenda Kay!! I was trying to get the cityscape to "pop" and quite pleased with the color combinations.....I was going to colorful without overdoing it and working with complements definitely helped.
The colors pop - really sung out to me as I perused the paintings for today on Leslie's site. Nice dream!
