Day 4 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge - "Washing Away the Fears"

"Washing Away the Fears" - acrylic and graphite on 12" x 12" x .75" canvas
Creamy amethyst, lilac, sage green and celadon blend with the white, umber and vanilla shades for a peaceful yet thought-provoking little piece.  I still see a face in this one as well and am looking forward to changing the composition from the "random/meandering" style to a "cruciform" one.  I've got one more painting that I'm working on in this style then I'm off to painting a couple of crosses - perfect for this ex-Catholic School girl!
